Are you receiving notifications about messages written in your name, to your Yahoo contacts? Yes, I think you had some kind of virus that got your Yahoo contacts somehow, and there is probably a program somewhere writing these emails in your name. Your computer may be infected or not. I had a similar problem with my company email some years ago, and I had to wait until the messages stopped. Using Kaspersky is a good suggestion.

actually, it's not a virus! It's just spam e-mails that sneak into our e-mail folders... Do not pay attention to that if it worries you. And if you are still worried... Try to block these messages by activating your SPAM guard on... I too, have lots of these craps in my e-mail folder... Just don't pay attention to it & delte it immediately from your inbox.

I wouldn't go buy another anti-virus program, just keep the one you have updated. Trojans, worms, malware and the like have different ways of invading your computer and no anti-virus program can stop everything. I would try many of the free programs available to get rid of the things they can handle. Join a computer forum that helps people with their computer problems.

I am not sure what the real problem is. Maybe a virus? A virus which function is to spam or send unwanted emails to your contacts.

get a mac....naa i dont want to start a flame war. i suggest that you invest some money in antivirus software, maybe symantec or mcafee. if you use comcast as your internet provider, you get free mcafee, so thats good. i read the comments below, and the AAAAAAAA@AAAA.AAA looks like a good idea.
