Scripture - John 21:18-19 Jesus told Peter in what manner he (Peter)would die and glorify God. After this Jesus still said to Peter; "Follow Me!" Peter lnew what awaited him if he followed Jesus. He knew that he would be killed for his faith. Peter had an option, that was to not follow Jesus and avoid all the things that he would suffer. But, he also knew Jesus and the glory that awaits those who choose to follow Jesus. Peter was willing to suffer whatever comes his way because of his love for Jesus. We to have the same promise as Peter. We have the same invitation from Jesus;"Follow Me!" The road ahead might not be easy, temtations lie ahead, we will have to make soem sacrifices, people might call us naive or whatever, but the glory that awaits those who love and follow Jesus, if far greater than what anything else can offer. Stand fast in your relationship with our Lord, face whatever comes your way with the strength that come from faith in God, and look forward to the great reward of the glory of the Kingdom of God. See you there, Blessings

Yes Peter had a choice and he choose the best one. We also have this choice and sometimes we tends to go the other way until we meet upon a road that we alone cannot manage it. Temptations and sacrifices are in every body lives but the only difference is that when Jesus Christ is holding your hands you can say it is well because he is an unchangeable God. He will help us to weather the storm. Thanks for your thoughts.

You are so right, with Jesus holding our hand the path becomes easier. He gives us the wisdom to choose right and gives us the peace that things will come right. Many blessings
