When choosing my own children's names, I tried to bear in mind things like what would the initials spell and what a nickname might be and whether or not the names I chose would be a source of teasing and negativity. I also always sought out what the name "meant." Some good name ideas might come from using a family name, such as one to honor a respected older relative. Does your culture play a role in name choices? You might want something uncommon, but not silly. Names I personally love for boys, since I had all girls: Eric, Nathan, Jonathon, Jacob...all strong names. More unique or less common names I like: Dante, Malachai, Aden, Arden, Vast, and Delta.

Try Carlgene. My nephew's name is that. We call him Carl, karlgene, or Boycarl at times. My other nephew name is Ezekiel, after one of the book in the Bible.
