Do you plant gladiolus flowers

One of my coworkers gave me a couple several years ago, and I must say they are very easy to maintain. I basically plant them and forgot about them. The flowers are just gorgeous. They start blooming around Summer which is the only flowers I normally have blooming around that time of year. Do you plant gladiolus and has it being a positive experience?

Actually we did plant them.i thought they are never going to come and bloom.but to my surprise they all came at the same time and also got flowers at the same time.they look gorgeous.i love them.but iam starting to see some problems.hope they are not big ones.

My favorite flowers are tulips and that is what I usually palnt. My mother is a glailous fan, but I have never got into plating them. I also have a rose bush, but I dont think I will plant any other flowers this year. I do like them though.
