I am not 100% sure what you mean... But if I am sick with a regular cold... I like it when my husband cares for me. If you are meaning a final cold... like a terminal illness.. Then I would want my husband, children, mother & who ever else will come and see me. I know I will have church members here. Not sure if my father & sister will come down from Canada or not. Or even if my other sister will come up from Florida. I would like to think they would but... How about yourself? Who would YOU want?

it sounds like you are so lucky to have so many persons to count on to take good care of you when an illness strikes you. however, i will never ever think that you would get so sick as to need the presence of those so dear in order to make you feel a little better. good health for you, wittymomma. it is better to think of you as an online friend who is always wallowing in good health and doing mylotting happily.

You are fortunate to have so many people can take care of you. When I was a child of eight-year-old,the illness,it is necessary to go to hospital of my own.Giving birth my son to restore the body well, almost bedridden,in addition to my son, only my parents have to take care of me.Alone with my child living in another city,it is the fear of illness. It is only that I have to take care.

When I get sick my mom is the one who takes really good care of me along with my sister. My dad and my brother also help out but they're not as nurturing and as helpful as my mom.

when i was a child, it was always my mom or my dad who will be with me by the sickbed. now that i have my two sons with me at home, it shall be my two sons who will be taking care of me whenever i am not feeling good enough. it is good to be having somebody around i can count on when i am feeling sick. in the farm, where i usually live alone, i have to rely on myself for remedies in order for me to get well. others might think that it is pitiable that way. but no, it is not that bleak. situations such as being alone when sick, makes one stronger and more imaginative in order to effect a cure to an existing illness.
