Tonight my son had his first sleep over kind of... I was babysiting and their parents were not going to get home until very late... So I decided to set up the living room for the kids to lay down and watch movies together.. That was completely fun! I know the kids enjoyed it, and I love to see kids happy.. My son was one of the last ones to fall asleep..(he's 3) normally he is sleeping by 8:30 or so, but he managed to stay up until 11:30 or so... 15 mintues before the kids' parents walked in the door.. That was a great experince, and I know that there will be plenty more.. Do you have any stories of your child's first sleep over, or one that you can never forget because something different happen? At what age did you allow your child to have regular sleepovers and was their any specific reason for that age?

My kids are all grown up and I can't remember at what age they had their first sleepovers but I know my house was the one everyone came to..and that was a very good thing! I always had tons of kids sleeping everywhere even as they got older....Sounds like a fun time for your little guy!

Yes it was for him, and I know that there will be plenty more experinces like that coming up.. I am excited for him.. Any tips on how to make it a wonderful experince for the kids? Anything that I could do? I was not invited to sleepovers as a kid, and there was no way my mother would allow them...
