I think Wii Fit is made for people with small feet...

I just hooked up my new Wii Fit this morning and did all my measurements. The hardest thing for me was the balance and I think that's because my feet were kinda hanging over the board a bit. I wear a woman's size 10 1/2. I wonder how men with big feet use this because my foot size equals about average size for a man.
Do you use the Wii Fit and does your feet fit on it? I don't know if that's going to make a difference using it, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I actually try it for the first time!

Hummm, I never thought about that. I wear size 7 or 7 1/2 depending on the shoe. I would hope when I get mine that I will not have this problem. I hope you get this worked out so you can use it right.

I have huge feet so I always have a problem. It's very hard for me to find cumfy shoes because they're so big...

I did find a sneaker that I just LOVE. It's an Asics something-or-other. It fits me like a bedroom slipper, it's so cumfy! But that took me EONS to find!
I'm getting ready for my first real workout on the Wii so I'll know today if it's my feet fall off of it.

I know women that wear a bigger size than you do. If you can't find anything comfy then I'm sure they can't either. Have you tried Nike? My sons love them and BK's they are comfortable to them and the only shoes they will wear. They both wear a 13 in mens.

My son is a size 8 and he just fits on the wii fit,I had never thought about it before,it must be a right pain when you balance ,or when you have to stand on the middle bit.It must be akward for people with bigger feet.My feet are a five so really fit on there quite well.Good luck tomorrow but take care ,you will sweat buckets have a towel handy, and boy do you ache afterwards for the first few times.Stick with it as they are good and help you with balance that will make you feel better.I was really surprised finding you centre of balance is really good for your frame as standing better cuts down on bad heads and neck aches as you learn to spread your weight evenly would be interested to hear how you get on with it.

I played around with it a bit today, but didn't do much. It is kinda neat and I learned a bit also. My husband and I even played a few games together! I'm surprised by how much he likes it.

My feet are a women's size 10 and they hang over the board a bit too. Eventually you get the hang of the balance thing despite it. My brother has men's size 12 feet and it took him awhile. No one has good balance at first though, one my friends has tiny feet... women's size 5, but those shoes are always loose on her. Yet she couldn't balance easily at first either.
It seems to me like as long as the front of my feet are bearing more weight than normal, it works. Then my heels just end up being off the edge a bit.
Wait until you get to the part where you have to sit on it... that's when I discovered my butt was too big too! LOL

LOL! Yep! Eventually you get a balance game that requires sitting on it. And I think some of the strength training stuff too.
The Wii really is pretty negative isn't it? I noticed even when you do well, it doesn't have nearly as much positive stuff to say as it has negative stuff to say when it doesn't approve of what you're doing.

WHAT?!?!?!?!? I'm going to have to SIT on this thing... Oh, I'll be hangin' over again I'm sure!
I have gotten used to the feet thing though. I still feel like I'll fall off sometimes. I guess it makes me more aware of my balance - which Wii says is HORRIBLE :)
I do love it though, I can feel it working on some muscles!

My son wears a size 13 and I have not heard it complain about his feet being too big for the Wii Fit. He did say it was a harder workout than he expected though.

I don't have trouble due to the size of my feet but I have trouble keeping my balance when you have to lean forward on the ski jump game. Yesterday I was on my brothers wii fit and nearly fell face first into his TV.
Also, I'm sure you'll get used to it! :) Enjoy playing on your Wii Fit! It's a great way to keep fit, I think.

I think alot of the wii games and acessories are actually aimed at kids...who would have small feet. I get the feeling that sometimes they are surprised at how many adults are using the system!
I'm so looking forward to getting a wiifit in the fall - I'm waiting until then because i do tons outside during the summer and it would just sit and be unused like my wii is right now!

I think you're right on that. It's designed where no one would have such big feet. But I've heard they're coming out with a more Americanized version eventually. With a bigger board that can handle more weight (I think the current weight limit is around 300 pounds).

The Wii Fit even says it's not for kids, but I guess it's just for "little" adults!!!
I still do my outside stuff, I'm adding the Wii Fit to that. Then there are days like today where I can't get outside to walk because of the rain. It really comes in handy!

I wear a women's size 9.5 and they look big on it too. I have a visual distortion issue with myself anyway, so that could just be me seeing things!! The feel of it is fine though. I hope you're able to get a good workout with your feet overlapping the board!
LOL I can't even remember what that sitting game is called now! I hang off of the board for that too!! Be careful on it when you're working out! I'm so clumsy that I know if my feet were already hanging off some, I'd be in for a fall!!!

I'm actually getting used to it, it's pretty cool! If I weren't so clumsy I think I'd be ok, but sometimes I think I'm going to go right off the edge.
