that in the summer months you use less makeup?
For me .. I am a sun lover and love when I can get into the sun and get some natural color going . .. . I always feel so good when I have a tan. .. that natural sun kissed glow . . Honestly, for me there is no make up that can come close to a great tan!
so in summer I definitely use less make up and rather put a few extra dollars in a good moisturizer.
What do you prefer??

I agree, good moisturizers and bare minimum on makeup in the summer is the winning choice. Granted, i don't wear lots of makeup anyway, but in the summer when I tend to wake up later, I get lazy with makeup and have too much else going on during the day to bother with it. Sometimes. ;)

dreamstobecome . .I too do not wear much make up anytime of the year either but there are those days in the middle of winter where I turn "green" and need a little boost of something. . so then I usually use some bronzing powder to help get that summer glow (or at least get the green out) and some blush .. but when summer comes .. YEAH . .no powder no blush no nuttin . .
justt a little something for my lips!

i don't like to wear make up much in the summer because i like the sun as well also because it's way to hot and when i swet it just gets into my eyes which starts to burn, i mean every once in awhile i will put on lip gloss so my lips don't dry out but thats about it.

I cant live without something for the lips! Never leave anywhere without a handy chapstick and lip gloss is always good to have around. Especially a light pink color to go with my glowing tan!

A couple of years ago, I started working full time from home, so I hardly ever wear makeup at all anymore, so liberating! But when I did, yes, I wore less in the summer, once you get a bit of a tan, you DO have that sun kissed look. And my foundation used to feel like it was melting off..LOL

It is more like oven like most of the year- today 97F outside; it is bright and sunny , hot n sweaty.
Thank goodness i don't have to live in NY winter which i had been trying to escape. I always choose to visit NY in summer, that is the only time i am comfortable with..

You know my friend lamp . .that Spring and Fall are the best seasons to be in New York . ..too bad those seasons dont seem to be in existence anymore .. . its more like we go from winter right into summer and visa versa

other than having a tan . .growing things is the best part of it .. I start my seeds in Feb . .so that comes the warm weather here I am ready to get them outside and blooming!
But hey . where you come from it is Spring like all year . . no NY winters for you

I have seen myself more comfortable without make up in summer, because In summer I have to wash up my face every now and then so than I feel the cold water so definitely for me I will prefer the summer as I do not have to apply so much make up. I use less of it.

I always wear the same amount of makeup no matter where i go or what i am doing.I tend to wear black eyeliner and black mascara.Even in the summer i stick to just the two items of makeup and i do tend to stay out of the sun as i tend to go red or even burn on my face.

then jugsjugs you are one smart girl to stay out of the sun! Nothing worse I hear then getting burned . . For me I look like a clown if I try to put eyeliner on .. for some reason it just doesnt look good on me .. maybe a little eye shadow at times .. but if I do it has to be just a little . .
mascara is a must!
so is lip gloss

I only use eye makeup during summer - I like to add some color to my eyes to make them look brighter. I usually wear green or blue shades, but they're really really light. I get tan during summer so no need to put anything else on the face but sunblock while hitting the beach.
