10 tips on turing your kids into trekkies.

Hi myloters. If you are a star trek fan and if you have kids. Here is a blogpost for you. In wired.com in the geekdad blog, there is a post offering ten tips on how to get your child intersted in become in a trekkie. It rages form calling the family car the "Enterprise" to asking yourself what Spok would do to shouting at the top of your lungs KAHNNNNN! to even taling like Capt. Kirk. I do not have any children but I am not totlal sure if some of the tips were good or bad. I am not sure if I would want to entirely use those tips at all. some of them are LOL funnny.

Someone couldn't have agreed with the Acting out Trekkie Dad list...There's a 404 error message on the end of that link! From the examples you mentioned,I doubt if a kid seeing their dad doing a full Shatner "KHAAAAAAANNNN!" outburst for no good reason (and unless You're doing said Enterprise Cap'n Impression,why would You?!) I doubt if the kid would be too impressed with your Thespian abilities..probably more hoping none of their Friends saw that happen! I don't have kids Yet..I think I'd be the only scifi fan among my siblings-I don't think any of the rest of them would admit to being one,so there's not much opportunity to pass on the trekkie torch to my nephews and Nieces!
