I don't see how he could have, since he lived at the same time Christ did. He was the one who gave a tomb for Jesus to be buried in. England didn't even exist as such at that time. I believe that it's a legend - a myth - that he even became an active apostle, much less took a trip to Gaul and to the British Isles. There is no other support than this one legend, so it really cannot be taken as the truth.
