Hello all, My darling husband is turning 34 in August aand I need some ideas on how we could celebrate. I was hoping to be able to take him away for a night or two, just for some adult time. After 9 years of marriage, we don't generally buy material gifts anymore for one another and prefer to save for an annual get away...your thoughts on some ideas for celebrating?

surprise with birthday decors, even though he is turning 34 i know he will love it if he knows your the one who prepared it. Birthday balloons and let him blow the candles. Prepare a collection of your pictures together and put it in a cd and let him surprise its a good movie. Happy mylotting and smile always!

Wonderful thought he likely has not had decorations for years and the kids will love to help.

Hi there! I would suggest having some drinks at the bar, wherever it is that you are planning to take him and then, have the room where you'll be staying set up with a romantic ambiance. Candles, flower petals, the works. Have soft, seductive music playing and give him a massage. Better yet, don't give the massage right away. On one of our anniversaries, I made love menu as a gift for my husband. I made paper bills, about 1,000.00 and made a menu with massage, a kiss and other naughty stuff with corresponding price and he'll order what he wants from that menu and pay with the paper bills. He like it so much that he's asking for that gift everytime our anniversary comes. Good luck and happy anniversary!

Happy birthday first~you said you hadn't buy any material gifts for one another,so every idea for the celebrating is ok,you can buy a gift that he wanted a long time,or take a short-distance travel,or just like you say take him away for a night r two,i think everything that he will like, because is withe you.Wish you happy~
