Traditional or Modern?

I'm enthralled by the best dancers ever. But when I think through, I ask myself: If I were the performer onstage, would I like to be seen as the traditional or the modern dancer? Ballet or hiphop? Cultural or jazz? Ethnic or exotic? Ballroom or striptease? Which is easier anyway? Which do you prefer to watch? To dance?

I would definitely like to be seen as somewhat a hybrid of the two... I probably have a lot more classical in my style than most "modern" dancers, however, I do like to branch out and develop my own style as well. Because there are certain physical challenges you face as a ballet dancer (I especially love to do pointe), I enjoy it a lot, and I love combining these challenges with my own choreography, which tends to be half-classical ballet/half-contemporary. As far as watching it goes, I do not follow dance much as a spectator, however, I do watch videos on YouTube occasionally just to get some inspiration if I ever get stuck on any piece I am working on. I watch all forms for these educational purposes.

As a choice? Hip-hop, Jazz, Ballroom, to perform, but I love to watch all of it!
