Where do you best friends exist?

Just out of interest where would you say your best friends are? Do they live near you, do you only meet them at certain places? Do they exist online? For me, my best friends are from other countries and I talk to them over MSN...we may never meet but the friendship is good:) I have other friends whom I meet at toddler groups, etc but I am closer to my long term online friends, we meet up online, play games, discuss life, share each others problems and comfort each other...Where do your best friends exist?

i have friends in different parts of this world, i have friends on line, friends from school, work, church...but my best friend lives with me, i grew up with her, learn from her, i owe her everything even my life...she's my mom!
aside from her i also treated my husband, my father and my brother as my very close friends...best friends! :-)

Lovely, I unfortunately lost my mum when I was 17, so I think that made it hard for me to develop strong relationships in my 20's. Its great that you can be so close to your family, you have my respect :)

over the years i made friends and lost them to this world due to parting of ways.at present i am in touch with two.ofcourse online.net is helping us to be in touch.one is in U.S.one is in INDIA,in some other city.age does not come between us.they are 18 years younger to me.we share all things.bokks movies other problems in life happy tidings,as i said every thing.

Waow, its amazing isnt it..to be able to actually get to know someone properly...I find that online, I am able to express myself truly and that has gained me some fantastic friends...I'm so glad you've found the one for you, and all the best for the future :)

My best friend stays nearby my home. I am away from home and live in a different state as a part of my job. The only way to contact my best friend is phone - a land line phone. She is poor and studied only till 10th grade. She doesn't have a job and doesn't have money to buy a cell phone. Also, she doens't know how to use internet.

for me my best friend exist near my heart......i keep my best friend near my heart........my best friend lives very close to my place....and they have a very special place in my life.....its very difficult for me to live without my best friends......

One of my best friends is my daughter. When I am in Maryland we only live three miles apart. We shop, laugh, and cry together. When I am in North Carolina my best friend lives a half mile from me. We don't see each other every day, but we talk to each other every day. I have friends online and it is wonderful to talk to them. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to and sometimes you need to be able to reach out and touch that best friend. Thank God for Best Friends..

Thank God indeed, in my loneliest moments, I only have to sign onto MSN or Facebook and I find my best friend juan...we cry together, laugh together and enjoy so much that I couldnt in my day to day life...I've put him through hell but he is always there for me :)

hello there allegradream....yes i have a bestfriend! she is in skype and yahoo.she is the main reason why i have this internet..... this is our way of communicating to each other....we seldom see each other before so she suggest that i get an internet connection so we could keep in touch. but sometime we do see each other. sometimes with her husband and sometimes just the two of us...

I have some pretty good friends over the internet as well, and in other countries. But my BEST friends live near me and I've known them for YEARS. I don't think I'd be able to actually develop a super close friendship with someone I only met online, because you don't really get that face to face contact and you can't do things like go to the movies or hang out at the park or go out to a restaurant. Maybe that's just a teen thing, but I think I gotta have some personal contact with someone before our friendship is elevated to such a height that I refer to them as my BEST friend.

Yes, I see where you're coming from, but if you couldnt get out much, the internet is the next best thing :)

my best friends exist near by my house. we was very happy and was having a very good time together with them and having fun all the time . but after joining my company due to some official work i was shifte to noida . but eventhough i am in touch with them but not as much as close how was in my place . i miss all my friends a lot ....

I met my best friend through the internet.
We would always have discussions on "AIM messenger" (http://www.aim.com)
about him and his girl friend and about our goals and dreams. Then, one day we met at a football game through another friend of mine that lives in the same town as me. He said to me from that moment he looked into my eyes and seen some thing he's never seen before. Some one he truely and deeply cared for. We are now engaged to be married. =) And have been best friends for around 10 years now, and engaged for 2. Hope you like this, I loved this topic. Good Job!
