Who washing and ironing at your home.

Hi there.I am a mother.I washing everyday and ironing twice in a week.But,I need helper to ironing.I think,a little difficult in ironing.How about you? Who do that work at your house?.Are there who still washing by hand?what is difficult,washing or ironing?.Please share,thank you.

My mother do the washing and ironing at home and she seldoms feels happy in doing so because she says that it is the worst thing to o everyday. In the week end we help her and then she feels free again. She says she prefer the washing to the ironing because she has to stand all way and get everything iron.

I don't know about the rest, but I don't really like doing housework. But now I'm married and staying with my husband at our own house, we divide the chores to make our home comfy. There's 2 chores that I don't like. That's ironing and washing the dishes. To tell you the truth, the last I have ironed anything was like 2 years ago..AHHAAH. I just prefer to buy those clothes with materials that do not require any ironing.Even if its more expensive. I don't know if you dry your clothes with a dryer or not, but here in my country, most of us hang our clothes to dry, we don't have seasons here, and its either rain or shine. HAHA. So if we hang our clothes the proper way, its doesn't get wrinkly, and thus little need to iron it.

Thanks for your share.In my country,washing and ironing are duties of women.Yes,for having people,Helper do washing and ironing for them.But in my opinion,as a woman,we need to have skils in washing and ironing.In my country,a lot of people dry their clothes by spread out in the sun.

In our house, each of us has to do each laundry.
Only my sister iron her work clothes. The rest of the
family doesn't used iron on the clothes. I mean I can
go out in the street even if my dress is crumpled. I don't
give a damn what will others think of the way I dress.

Right now I a living in my own and all the task are perform by me. I wash my clothes once in a week and I do ironing also once in every week. When I was living with my parents before I also do my task of washing my own clothes because there is no one to do it and it is very awkward to do that job by my parents or my sisters at home. I want to lighten their responsibility at home that's why I did my part.
