What do you think would be the reason for Sehwag's exclusion from the squad? Do you really think a true professional like him carried an injury with him to England? Or else a possible spat with 'useless' Dhoni in the dressing room or in the training ground which would have led to his exclusion? If his exclusion is due to the latter, then the selectors have made a terrible mistake because its our opening stand which has let us down in the tournament, both against West Indies and England. Do u really think Dhoni's position in the team is much more important than the more experienced and flamboyant Sehwag? Leave your comments below. Have fun!

Thanks for your valuable comments. I still feel its not the injury that prompted his exclusion

Sehwag's exclusion is because of the injury only.Remember even zaheer went with a injury and played. So was expected of Sehwag but his injury got worst. As far as spat with Dhoni is considered remeber Dhoni respects Sehwag a lot.And the news that Dhoni and Sehwag had a spat came from sources of news channel which have blown out of proportion now a days. The so called "SOURCES" have been wrong more than right for example Rahul Gandhi was told to be a minister in this cabinet by sources and many such examples.Media should have behaved properly and not interfer without knowledge of cricket. I Accept Dhoni's Decisions are responsible for indias defeat but he needs to told that and not nonsense.

I dont think sehwag can be excluded from the team. He is a perfect T20 player so cant dare to exclude him. He was carying injury and had to leave the team. But one thing is sure that he had some issues with Dhoni. From the beginning of the tournament the whole team lacked unity. India did not play as a team.

dhoni would be foolish to make sehwag sit out of the tournament knowing that he already had a weak bowling attack at his disposal. he himself was not in form i do not think he has gone home because of a spat with dhoni. maybe there was a spat but the reason for that would have been because sehwag did not inform the team management about the injury he picked up in the ipl which he later said after returning to India.

Sehwag had an Injury, he has carried it from the IPL and everyone knows about it. But maybe Sehwag or some of the medical guys were expecting it to heal in time for the T20. Sehwag was withdrawn due to injury, the ICC technical committe has examined it and he has undergone surgery. They have also come out and said nothing is wrong between them, So there is no point of making an issue out of nothing. But if I were Dhoni and Sehwag did not tell the whole story about the injury I would reserve the right to be annoyed. Having an important player such as Sehwag withdraw at the last moment completely disturbs the whole set up and all the strategies that were planned. Anyway his injury was a big blow that cost dearly. Hope he recoveres and gets back to his best soon.
