Hi Novelist, I like the John Q movie. It is a 2002 movie. The story is about a father (Daniel Washington) do anything to get a new heart for his sick son. He even take a few hostages in a private hospital to make sure his son got a donor. He almost kill himself so his heart can be donated to his son. It is a touching movie. I love this because my ex-girlfriend also have a heart problem. She even ask me if I could do the same. I don't know how to answer that question. I hope she will be fine and may GOD bless her. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

I would go for Air Force 1 with Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman. Guaranteed exciting all throughout. Heart stopping and simply plain entertaining. But of course I also like Titanic and Bourne and Mission Impossible and Die Hard and Mercury Rising. Mulan and Lion King and Little Mermaid are also good. Love stories like The Notebook are for romantics like me.

Been reviewing films since you posted this question. Will have to mention Man With the Iron Mask. Plot perfect. Characters well defined. Music tremendous and touching. Am bewitched by this period movie.

This is a really good discussion and I know that movies are really important when it comes to everyday life because they are a good way to pass the time when you are extremely bored,or when you have nothing to do like on those extremely cold, and rainy days where you do not want to leave the house for anything, and I know that nothing is better than cuddling with the one you love to watch a good movie, especially when you are sharing a bowl of popcorn, and I know that everyone has different preferences when it comes to movies, and not many people like the same types of movies, and I know that different people probably have a movie that is their favorite, and I can understand that no two people think the same way,and when it comes to me the best movie I have ever seen would be all six of the Star Wars movies ,they are my favorite movies, and they will always be,because I love the idea of Jedi vs Sith, because it shows the eternal struggle of good vs. evil that everyone has to face, and all of the lightsaber fighting,I also like the force powers, and all the different races you see,and Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford which is one of my favorite actors,is my favorite character and part of the reason I like the movies, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

the best? I would say dogville! had anybody here seen dogville? its a bout a woman who escaped from her gangster father and was trapped into this small community near the woods. the catch of the movie is that, everything was done on stage, the props are like thos whom you can see in the theater play and everything else is left on your imagination. it was the best because it teaches the viewers of the value of drawing the line between being good and being stupid. it stars nicole kidman and i must say she is very good there as well as the rest of the cast. imagine acting up when there's no props or set that will help you in your emotions. ive watched it only once because the movie is so tragic and the antagonist are so bad that it gives me nightmares.

Novelist_117, I believe the 2006 movie Fearless is an extraordirily good movie. I really felt the pain of the character Li Lianjie portrayed, Huo Yuanjia. This is without a doubt my favourite movie and I am always recommening it to the people I know.

Definitely without a doubt it would have to be any of The Lord of the Rings trilogy: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, or The Return of the King. The story (based on the books by JRR Tolkien), the actors, the special effects, the costumees and the music score. Everything about these movies is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone.

My favorite movie is Children of Men. It came out a year or two ago. It's about a future world where women no longer have children. Then one young woman ends up pregnant and the main character has to help her escape to safety. It's a really great movie. The cinematography is awesome and so is the story. It's based on a book but the book is actually pretty boring. I was surprised that a movie is actually better than the book it's based on! I love that movie and I'd recommend it to anyone.
