What is the next upgrade you are planning for your computer?

Have you got a plan to upgrade your computer soon? What is it likely to be? Do you want to upgrade your CPU to the latest quad core CPUs? Or install more memory into the system (say 16G?)? Or you want to change your slow but large hard disk with the latest SSD that are fast but much smaller in capacity?

Im looking at add a better grafixs card. Im more than happy with a pent4 pro runs all the games i want it to. 2 GB Ram should be fine for anyone aswell as a 300gb hard drive unless you download loads of moves.

Thanks for your reply. Graphics card is really the strangest part of hardware inside the computer. It can costs so much but the main purpose of it is not that obvious. I mean if I need to spend 200-300 bucks on a graphics card, why not just buy a PS3? I believe that at the same price tag, the PS3 is going to offer much better gaming experience that a graphics card can.

would do me not good getting a 360 cos all my game are RTS/TBS (real time or turn based) Plus they dont do them games on 360 because they all mouse based games and its not what the 360 made for.

I don't exactly have the money to upgrade now but I'd love to get a system with the latest intel core i7 CPU, 12GB of DDR3 RAM, at least 1TB of Hard Drive space, dual Nivida 8800 GTS cards in SLi with 640MB of vRAM each, the fastest blue Ray burner, a DVD burner just for the heck of it, the coolest computer case I could find, liquid cooling so I can do some extreme overclocking(not that I'd need to), at least a 1000 watt PSU, a huge flat panel monitor, good surround sound speakers, the coolest keyboard and mouse I can find, and I think that's it. Oh yeah also some good game controllers! All of this running under Windows 7 when it comes out! Because I hate Vista like I hated windows ME.

Thanks for your reply. The computer config. you mentioned is probably the best one can get except you can definitely switch to use a SSD for even higher price and better performance. Honestly, it is cool to have a computer like that but then who really need such a powerful one?

Well there are a few things i want to do to my computer. If the option was open i would totally just build a new one =D. But since i can't im mostly gonna add a 1Tb Harddrive and a new graphics card. 1TB is totally need since my 500gb is filled with music and games so i have no room. and with that ill be able to transfer my music and games onto that harddrive to keep only important things on the OS hardrive to make it faster and more responsive.
