We just bought a new Wii and I wanted to find out what people's favourite Wii games are. Right now we only have Wii sports and Wii play which is not that great. We were thinking of trying Wii fit or Wii active. What games do you like on the Wii?

I have both the Wii Fit and the EA Sports Active, and I really love the Wii Fit. The Wii Fit is definitely more entertaining than the active; it has fun little balance games, as well as yoga, strength training and aerobic activities like the hula hoop. We have all made our fair share of mistakes when doing the wii fit activities, but for my family that is part of the fun. Watching your mii get hit in the head with a soccer cleat or a panda head is half the fun . . . =D The EA sports active is great if you are looking for a serious workout routine. It has a 30 day challenge that provides you with daily workouts, as well as offering preset workouts and the option of creating custom workouts from the exercises provided. It is more physically intense than the wii fit, but it is definitely a good workout.

LOL! My mii ALWAYS gets hit with those. xD I start off really good and then if I miss ONE soccer ball then the rest of the game I get hit with cleats and panda heads...lol. It's evil, I tell you.

Thanks for the help. My sister-in-law has the wii fit so I've seen some of the activities before but I don't know anything about the active.

I've got a Wii Fit and I think it's a really neat game. Definitely helps to tone and strengthen your muscles. I can feel it after every exercise!..lol. And I'm starting to lose weight. Slowly but surely. I also really like some of the Sonic games. I've always been a big sonic fan, so I guess that's just always carried over from my past! Mario Kart is fun. We've got the game with the steering wheel, so it actually seems like you're really driving and that's always pretty interesting. Not to mention that we're all really bad at it, so it makes it that much more interesting! Smash Brothers Brawl is also another good one, especially if you want to have multiple people play at the same time. It's a little confusing at first, especially if you're used to playing it on a different console (I always played it on the Game Cube), but once you play it for a while it gets a little easier. And getting used to it is always fun, too. I kept accidentally jumping off the side and dying without even realizing it. xD I hope you enjoy your new Wii! They're really pretty interesting games.

Thanks a lot for the help. I've tried the bowling and baseball in the wii sports but I'm hoping to get more of a workout going if I can and that's why I wanted to know more about the fit and active games. I'm not much of a sports enthusiast.
