Is that a truth, people who text a lot, because it is fun; And you can't say things on the phone, but you can text everything through text message? I never noticed about this trend, until my little cousin told me the reason yesterday. Would you agree with what he said?

Hey,
I would say that it is actually easier for people to get their message across to people by talking. Text messaging is good too, but I think that it is actually harder comparing to voice chatting. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Hello! Well to be honest, i actually love using my text feature because I can text anyone while I'm at work and noone will know I received a text because I'll put my phone on the vibrate feature. there are many times that my kids will text me so it is a nice feature to have. Also, it's a great advantage if you don't want anyone to hear you talking. My sister and I did that once when we were at a party and we actually had a conversation but didn't want anyone to know about it. I would recommend to anyone who is able to text to be careful you don't use it too much or you'll spend too much money or go over your limits and it isn't fun when you receive that bill. Try to keep it at a minimum.

Yes it may be possible!!there are some people who are shy or they don't like much to speak live by phone and so uses messages in this way they can communite quickly and in a not direct way to others!!
Normally i like more to speak voice or live but i noticed many people like much the txt messages...and so you write and write things that you can easely say by voice faster...may be this is a trend now and so many people like to follow it!!

Hmmm I don't know if I completely agree with that. I use texting to check up with people and to ask quick questions that perhaps don't need a call. I organise a lot of meeting within my department. (I'm a University student) and so I often use texts to be able to tell the same infomation to lots of people at once. If I am wanting to talk about someting personal or serious I much prefer doing it face to face or over the phone. I've grown up using mobiles a lot I've had one since I was 12 and I'm 20 now. But if it is something important I think that by using texts means that you become detached from the situation and it makes it trivial and I much prefer to use a call. I also think that things can be read wrong in texts as you don't know what intonation people are using and what can be made as a joke might be taken seriously.

clorissa123,
to be honest I started texting with my teenage daughter so when I needed an answer as to her whereabouts or what she was doing (while i was at work) I usually could get an honest answer and one without hearing her attitude!!!!
Stopped many an fight between us!
I grew to rely on texting so much and now I find it is the easiest an quickest way find stuff out from everyone .. .even when someone doesnt have cellphone coverage a text will always go thru ..
fun no ...reliable and easy yes!!!!
happy lotting to you
