A brain freeze don't you hate that?

Well not speaking of a brain freeze in regard of eating or drinking something that is extremely cold, but I am talking about is I'm stuck of even thinking about a discussion to talk about. It's probably just those typical Mondays I guess. Don't you just hate that? Probably it was just a hard night work last night, 9 hour shift, had to send one of my employees home because he wasn't his doing his job well and yada yada yada. Do you ever find yourself sitting there just brainstorming what to even say? Then when you do have it all of a sudden it blanks out again and you're like, "Darn! This is not working! Malfunction! Malfunction!" Anyways feel free to post whatever comes to mind on this post.

What is worse than a brain freeze is thinking of some lame topic to discuss, posting it and then regreting posting it. I did this the other day. Please don't go looking it up, trust me. Be happy with your brain freeze. Something will come along in due time. I am shocked too, at some postings into the thousands, man, I don't know if I could think up that many quality topics, lol.

Oh but I have to see what it is. I'll be guilty in a bit to check what the topic was you put on there. And that's the thing posting topics that are lame or regretting ever being there that like happened to me the other day when I started ranting how people whine that some of their posts get deleted and then post a discussion about it. LOL I thought by now it would've been deleted, but it's still there. Turned out to be a horrible flame, but cool thing though is we all kept cool and moved on.

Yeah I did the same thing too twice asking Mylot to delete my discussion. I mean it was pretty bad, I would've thought that Mylot would've deleted it by now since they forbid flames on Mylot. But yeah like what you said I definitely hear you on that.

I was actually thinking about contacting Mylot and beg them to remove my discussion. Then I thought to myself, I don't want them to read it too. Sometimes making waves is worst than just letting the dust settle, you know? So as every grueling day passes, I am happier that my discussion is getting lost in the crowd.

LOL! Yeah I hear you bro. Just to say you have like almost 900 posts then again there are others that over like 10,000 something I'm sure they have had their problems going through that. Well, I'm thinking that might be me too. I hate it when that happens! Well I don't know if say I can't find nothing to talk about I might as well just dig through other people's discussions and just blurt out my opinions on theirs.

Yeah.......that's a lot of writing though I mean like figure how some have already reached like almost 20,000 man that's insane! I don't know I'd probably find myself like out of all these posts they'd probably be something similar or probably don't notice that I might have made duplicates of what I've spoken of. But I guess this day is just reply day. But then again I'm like, "Ooooh! But posts of my own can go up almost 10 cents easy!" Anyways, it's just a blah blah yada yada day. Cool beans!

Yeah really I kind of hate Mondays. Well duh right? It's the start of the week where people wake up and go crap I want to go to sleep but it's another 8 in the morning shift sitting down at the office with the dusty old air conditioner making everyone sick day.

sometimes it doesnt happens on a monday, lol. if you are disorriented, brain freeze happens for a week. . and whats worst, not just having a hrad time to think what to start as a discussion but it is also hard to respond on some cool and interesting discussions you see around. sometimes i even have an interesting discussion in my head but can not put it into explanation or cant find the right words to fit into it.

Right and speaking of discussions sometimes I go to one and then I'm puzzled sometimes what the person is addressing about to their topic. I sit there like, "Man! What am I suppose to respond back to this one?" LOL so I just go to topics to respond with a simple or interesting discussion I can go by.

I hate that .. you feel that you have a lot of things to say and just cant say anything .. I once had that during an exam , I had a question which I knew its answer but truly I kept looking at the paper for 5minutes without making my mind what to write .. I had to leave it empty !

So true it has happened to me like that in your case. Kind of like when playing a certain board game like Taboo when you do have the answer then your mind goes blank and your lost for words. Gets so frustrating at times, but funny at the end.

LOL That's funny! I get that at times too. It all depends where I am, what I'm doing, the situation that it is, then yeah I get home and boom my mind just went blank. And it's usually the good ones you want to talk about too.

Then it happens...when you think you remember you're happy, you post the discussion, then it happens you end up saying, "Wait a minute! That wasn't it!" LOL that's happened to me a couple of times.

Personally I have had that happen many times for me here. It can be quite annoying for sure, and something I guess you just need to learn to overcome. I know that for me it usually means it is time to go do something else, and come back in here later when I can concentrate. The good thing is myLot continues to be here anytime I want to be as well. Wishing you the Best.

i've experienced it, i think most people do. mental block is what i call it. maybe it happens because we are too stressed that our mind just shuts off to breathe and reenergize.

I think you are very much frustrated and overloaded or may be over stressed from your work and schedule. You sounding too much hasseled and agressive, yes dear it happens when you have a lot of work load over you. Then you do shifts which might take your timing and make you mould in new schedules which changes your way of living in some ways even that affects a lot.I would like to tell you why dont you take a break from work and relax for a small holiday sort off?

I'm having a hard time deciding which form of brain freeze is worse. Literary brain freeze doesn't bring about any pain, more like anxiety. At least with the other brain freeze, you can still come up with ideas. Which doesn't really mean much if the thoughts running threw your head consist of "AAAHHHHHHHHH! AAAaaahhhhh!" The ironic thing is, I'm getting a bit of both at this very moment. I could probably stop drinking orange juice while typing...

I have always thought that a brain freeze was from eating cold food. I have heard people refer to what you are saying as a "brain fart". haha.
