Confederations Cup: Poor USA!

It was painful for me as I watched USA lost the match against the defending soccer world cup champions, Italy. It seemed it was a "disaster" waiting to be ignited when the American player was sent off. The player, up to the point of his sent off, was more of a liability than an asset on the pitch as I barely see him kick the ball once! The American players did their best and even scored first after being down to ten men. Well, they couldn't hold on to the lead for long in the second half. Tim Howard stepped out of line and the golden boy of Italian football punished him severely with the brilliant goal. He was later to score the third goal for Italy deep into the added time. The second goal scored by Italy was equally good with a dose of intelligence. I hope American players will put this loss behind them and fight hard to secure qualification into the semi-final stage from this very tight and difficult group. Good luck to the USA.

Ah... shame. But I do love the Italian team! I'm recording the rerun tonight! Does it go into overtime? Or was it just the added time?
