how important is t.v. to you? and why?

i ask this because its pretty obvious thats most people have t.v in thier homes, and im just wondring why, and wondering that is it really important to have t.v in your home. as for me i think t.v is important in some point because it make you entertain while you resting in your couch, what about you?

Not only is TV important for entertainment but also it can keep you up to date with the latest news! TV is also good for communication purposes!

well for me tv is important because it keeps me entertained. since i got married i dont really go out alot so it really helps me stay at home. i love watching tv.

My television is very important to me because I love watching movies. I cannot afford to watch them all at the theater (with the ticket and gas prices these days)so as soon as them come out on DVD I watch them. Plus I watch my favorite TV shows. It is nice to come home after a long day at work and get entertained.
