i was wondering how many people would wash there car just wearing a bathing suit if you lived on a main busy street? i must admit i did the other day it was really hot out side and my van needed washed so i put on my bathing suit and washed my van my oldest son said i was crazy, i had a lot of horns beaping and my hubby thought it was funny each and every time some one beeped at me .

OMG!!!!!Not me that's for sure. I would cause so many accidents from people laughing at an elephant washing a car in a bathing suit that I would probably be put in jail for obstructing traffic...lol My kids would see my picture on the front page of the paper and probably not talk to me becasue of embarassment. flutterby

I dont even own a bathing suit anymore so, no. I dont think I would have gone out to wash the car in one when I was younger either as I wouldn't want people to think I was doing it to attract attention.

Good for you... I wasn't suggesting that YOU shouldn't or that you had any motive other than to get the job done - its just not something I would have done myself and that, I believe, was your question

Well, I guess it depends on a few things...do you have a good enough figure that you want to show it off to the community in a wet swim suit, if you're comfortable enough to get that much attention from strangers and if you can wash your car comfortably enough while wearing a swimsuit. For me personally, I don't have the figure for it, I don't like ppl staring at me and I'd probably be more comfortable in a teashirt and shorts. I have done that a couple times in my life. Right now, I wouldn't do it for two reasons. One, I'm not feeling really good about my body right now, but two (more importantly) I just don't appreciate that type of attenion any more. I don't like getting "beeped at". I just started going to the beach again this year and wearing my bathing suit. I haven't had any dramatic weight loss. I just feel better about myself now and I've become a little more positive about life than I have been in the past few years.

Yeah I would :P Especially if I had friends or family helping me wash it, Course if they were all wearing jeans and t shirts, I would then feel MORE awkward.... Maybe a swmsuit and denim shorts :P
