Medicine + Soft Drinks + Fatty Food =

Well, you must be wondering what is medicine + soft drink + fatty food. I'm currently taking a medicine for the past one month plus. My doctor advised me to take the medicine with fizzy drinks and fatty food in order to help in the absorption of the medicine. I will also need to take it 2 times a day (12 hours gap). I was wondering what type of special medicine this is to have such special requirements. In addition, I had just recently know from the doctor that I will still need to take this particular medicine for another 3 months... That means I will need to drink more soft drinks and eat fatty food for another 3 more months. I know this is really ridiculous. It's really strange that someone had invented such medicines... What do you think of the above? Have you also ever encountered of strange medicines with strange requirements?
