The question shouldn't be whether or not she should be in one, the question should be, why are men discriminated against if they belong to "Men Only" clubs?

Did I miss something? Is Sotomayor in a "Women Only" club or are you just bringing up the possibility that she may be? Nobody should be discriminated against but what man has been for belonging to "Men Only" clubs?
As far as the existence of clubs specifically for either gender I think they have to be considered individually. I don't think it's reasonable to say there should be no club where both genders can't belong nor should it be taken for granted that every club that so desires should be able to exclude either gender.

Sotomayor is part of a women only club called, "Belizean Grove". I don't have a problem with women only clubs, and she has every right to be in this one. But I can't help but wonder why clubs that are "men only" get harrassed by the government and incompetent press, but women only clubs are left alone.

Is the New York Times tearing her to shreds yet? I know they've ran 8,000 stories on Augusta (I believe... it could be another) golf course, and how it's a "men's only" club. They've been fighting against that for decades.

The more I live, the clearer it is to me that PC was invented so Liberals could shut Conservatives up.

That about sums up the entire progressive movement since 1960 (give or take).
You know a cause lacks substance when it can be defined in detail in a text box and sent out to friends via cell phone: "LOL"

to be fair, although i'm probably your definition of an annoying liberal (at the very least) even if i don't see myself in those terms, i find pc pretty ridiculous at times too. i also miss not having to think about all those xenophobic words for foreigners, not being sarcastic but mind you i mainly use them for people i like, e.g. i don't call americans i don't like yanks

I don't know why there has to be such a double standard with this crap. I have absolutely no problem with her being in a women's club or with a guy being in a men's club. Why does anyone have a problem with such things? Men and women are different and it's really stupid when politically correct people try to pretend they are the same.
