what are some side affects has anyone had from the drug Wellbutrin

I was put on the drug Wellbutrin 300mg per day for depression & weight gain over 4 months ago. I have told my Doctor that I want off of the drug, because it has gave me realy bad mood swings, seep problems & nightmares and it sure hasn't helped me with weight I actualy gained more weight. Doctor said that I should give the drug more time, but surely 4 months is plenty of time. What side affects or bad expereinces has anyone else had and did you quit because of it.

my mom had that-she now has a permanent seizure risk.
bad,evil stuff.they shouldn't prescribe it to anybody in my opinion.

please do.i'm madder than hell at them ever giving her that stuff.
i don't think she fully understood the possible complications when they explained it to her.

I take Welbutrin and haven't had any trouble with it at all, but I'm taking half the dosage you are.
Perhaps instead of ditching it all together you could ask your doc to scale back your dosage.
From what I understand, doc's have a habit of over medicating in hopes of jump starting the healing process but some times it does the opposite of what you are wanting.
Anyway, if that doesn't work try effexor, its good too.

Well for depression, medicines are not solution. Do Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.
