At the economic recession of this time, you can always get a better bargain by asking and negotiating. That really depends on how good are you as a negotiator. At the coming 4th of July, people might eager to go on a vacation somewhere else. You can get a better hotel rate by asking at the pre - booking. The chances are you can get 83% of the time by asking. It will be the same for Clothing, jewelries, home appliances and electronics. The hottest ones will be cars, most car dealers will be happy to haggle the price for you. Another one will be air fares too. In financial sector, credit card debts can be negotiated in 63% of the time. They are willing to get some money back from you better than nothing. Don't be shy or too pride to ask the negotiating price. You might get a good deal, who knows?

Here in the Philippines, we have a lot of flea markets along the streets where smart shoppers do their shopping. If you're really on a tight budget, you can always buy items in big discounts and even in low prices. I have bought a pair of Nike shoes for only 500 pesos, and my sister paid only half the price of the shirt that she bought, from the original price of 300 pesos, after negotiating with the vendor, she finally got it for only 230 pesos...that was the best sale ever! haha!

Personally, I never really thought about that, that will probably help when I'm thinking of taking a trip back to NC later in the year, thanks for the suggestion I can't believe that never occurred to me

When travelling by train which only has a restaurant in the first class compartment just stay there even after you're finished eating, they can't fine you, they can only tell you to get back to second class. ;) How nifty!
