Do you like watching International Soap Operas?

There was a point in time when International soaps have become a craze here in my country. The soaps were translated to our local language which I found funny as the movement of the mouth of the characters were not in sync with the words being said. Plus the tones of the characters were a bit exaggerated. The voice over I mean. What I like about the characters, though, almost all were beautiful and sexy. Especially the leads. I didn't really watch a lot of telenovelas but, I have seen parts of each one since like I said, it's been a craze. I had to watch to keep myself updated as they're topics everywhere I went like in school. And I didn't have any idea what they were discussing about. I fell in love with Marimar (starred Thalia), which was revised locally by a local actress (Marianne Rivera). In your area, have soaps become a craze, too? What was your favorite soap?
