Aw, how sweet...The Gitmo Trash 4 are going to open a restaurant in Bermuda...Just how much friggin' money did Obama give these guys as a going away present, anyway??!! And while we're on the subject on them swimming in the Atlantic, if these guys were waterboarded, they sure don't act they're afraid of the water, now do they? I'm sick of hearing how this trash was tortured. They were not tortured! Our marines are waterboarded as part of their training. This trash used to throw urine and feces on our soldiers! For you dummies out there, feces is poop, and urine is pee!

Where is your proof that Obama gave these 4 money for a restaurant? Don't make such statements unless you have proof and can back them up. List the proof or you statement is NOT valid.

First of all, if you know anything about Mylot, you cannot post links unless your posting is at 500. I haven't reached 500 yet, cupcake. It's a well known fact this trash was given money from the American Taxpayers. Our economy is down the toilet, but we're given terrorist thugs money for all the 'torture' they underwent. Torture my eye! Maybe you should have them live at YOUR house? Bet you'd love that, wouldn't ya?

If you can't show proof of your statement, you can at least say that it is just your opinion. Mylotters should at least show proof, I learned that a long time ago.

Couldn't you just puke? Every single one of our soldiers would love to go there and deserves to go there even if it's for a short vacation. The scum of the Earth get to go and their probably basking in the sunshine in their man dresses... Watch how fast the "religion of peace" causes war, suffering and unrest there and turns it into a crap hole like Iran...

Wow! I guess these guys have a lot of money to start a business in Bermuda. My sister happens to live in Bermuda. She is an accountant and she keeps on complaining about the high cost of living there. She told me that the cost of living in Bermuda is almost double than of Boston where she used to live. So where did this guys got all the money to start a restaurant in Bermuda? You need thousands of dollars just to get a good place in that island.

It's not clear if we're giving them any funds or not. Look here: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article6499129.ece I haven't found anything that says we're funding their entrepreneur efforts, but it could be conveniently left out. You can't trust the media. On a more tactful note, these men were never charged with anything and lost 7 years of their lives in prison. IF they are peaceful and good people, I wouldn't mind helping fund their efforts at a new life. But if they truly are terrorists I would be angry at such a gesture.

I read the article and couldn't find where the U.S. was giving them any money to start up a business. I don't think they should have been retained at Gitmo (just my opinion from what I read).

Thanks for posting the URL dragon, it should set some things straight concerning those 4 and Obama giving them money.

Dragon I am with you on this because you can believe that if this was one of us held for 7 years of our life without valid reason we would have millions. For some reason this poster believes that because they were muslim and held for that long that they are guilty. Like our government has never made a mistake. After 7 years they had not a damn thing on them. Here our rights would say they can not detain us more than 24 hours without arresting us imagine if they held us for 7 years.

I'm a bit on the fence with this one. While I know that we did in fact pay Bermuda to take these 4, I don't know how the government of Bermuda distributed said funds to them or even if it did in fact give it to them. I am also not so sure these were the worst of the worst. In fact, the group they represent really has nothing to do with the United States, they are an anti-china/ pro independence group. Militant....yes, very much so...but they were a group aposed to the comunist government in china, so I don't really see them as a threat to the U.S. Sure, they are probably a little peaved at us now because we locked them up for 7 years with out a trial (I'd be pretty pisssed too). But as to how much aof a threat they posed to us, I'm really not so sure they rank high on our list of concerns as aposed to more direct threats such as Al Quieda and Taliban operatives we captured.

To think either side innocent of torture is ridiculous. After a few search runs, I could find nothing to indicate that these 4 guys were guilty of, other than having similar names of SUSPECTED militant muslims. They had been cleared for many years, but were stuck in limbo because they feared going back to the home lands. China offered to take them but they (former detainees) said China was a worse option than Gitmo. The Bahamian govt most likely saw the writing on the wall, they to are in financial straits, with tourism down considerably, they are reliant upon the (lagging) banking industry to prop up everything else. Logistically a smart move. BTW, the detainees are quoted as saying they, collectively, "hold no ill will against the US". I was never at gitmo, so I do not KNOW that these four men threw anything at anyone at any time.
