I have 18 sites for about a year in a half and I haven't made the first dollar. Does anyone else have this problem? What am I doing wrong? My articles are doing great but my sites are not.

Are your affiliate programs targeted to your content? If you blog about John Deere tractors but have affiliates from perfume companies, you probably won't do well. Depending on the affiliate program, maybe doing product reviews could help -- I know a lot of people that use Amazon will put an affiliate link on something they've reviewed. Does your site scream money-maker? People don't necessarily like sites that are hitting them up for a sale all the time. Focus on delivering useful content to your readers, and encourage them to support you by making use of your affiliate links.

You need to join genuine sites to earn. Some of those may be scams who might be wasting your time. Do you have blogs? Work hard to add something interesting that will attract people like bees to flowers.

Are you saying, that you run 18 different affiliate products? In such case you might dance on to many weddings. The number one product in these days is "make some extra money", whereas wellness products and cosmetics aren't selling too well, at least over here in Western Europe. Secondly, affiliate systems ask for a cash investment when signing up, named "International Business Pack", "Welcome Command" etc. and your clients are supposed to pay 50$ up to several 100$. You can rarely sell these in online shops. Why don't you watch out for a "make money product" and a company in your back which is giving a welcome present instead of asking for cash right away? I have built with such a product a downline of 180 members within 4 weeks, and 90% of the members are from internet.

I have a similar problem. I did have one winner where one of my sites sold something for $300 and I made $150 for that. It was just a fluke and never got repeated. Cheers!!
