HP-vs-Twilight: better characters?

Between the two majorly popular books series, Twilight & Harry Potter, which do you think has better characters?
In the Potter books, we got to see Harry and friends grow up together.
And in Twilight, we got to see people fall in love, and form a kind of family.
I like both, but I kind of like Twilight better- I love the romance that's not too gushy, with a little adventure. Harry Potter was more of just adventure after adventure in each book, I would have liked more romance or something between more characters.

I have seen the Twilight movie but have not read any of the books.
I have seen the HP movies and read the books. So I guess I am partial to HP.

I think all characters are AWESOME! They just have different taste in the story. HP is more on adventure running through life of wizard and stuff. Twilight is more for the ones who wanted to be in love at the same time.
Both books are great actually.

I must say I totally agree with ya, megumiart! I like both too, but as you said Twilight's love story just gets to me more. It's so much more intennse and just takes you with.

They are both great in their own ways. I liked Harry Potter because it was magical and the whole family could enjoy it. Twilight was fast pased and took me away to different place. The romance was there and intense but not to described. Harry Potter was like the world should be, the bad guy got it in the end and they all lived happily ever after. The characters were all so great.
Is it possible to say which is better? I dont think I can.

Harry potter all the way I love Twilght for the romance but for the Character HP wins every time for me
