Hi mylotters! My wedding did'nt turn out the way I dreamed it but it was still a wonderful day. I did'nt really get to have a honeymoon but my husband has promised me that we will go on a curise once our daughter gets a bit older (she is 4 months now). So I'm super excited about that and that got me thinking about how many of you have acutally had their dreams come ture. Thanks for any responses in advance and Happy Mylotting!

Hello! I have been planning a wedding with my fiance for 9 years now *sigh* I want something nice and not to large , and he just wants it to be us . Each time we plan something or start to something gets in the way beyond our control. We both have minds set on a beach wedding now and just close family members. It works for me because i get to be barefoot and have flowers in my hair . I just want a wedding my mom had a jp one and so did my gram , but in Nyc . I just want a day for us oh, and that honeymoon sounds nice!

I didn't have my dream wedding. (I wanted it in a cruise in Bangkok.) What I got was a simple civil wedding ceremony with only eight witnesses. But I remember that I had once fancied wearing a Chinese dress for my wedding which exactly what happened. Also I mentioned once or twice in my life that I would want my wedding to be attended by only twenty people or less. These weren't really dreams but just fanciful ideas which came true. I didn't have a dream honeymoon.

My fiance and I are currently planning our wedding. We still have a year and a half before "the day" so most of the time we just talk about what we dream for our wedding. I dreamed to have an intimate wedding in a small chapel in a hill. All our closest friends and family are invited so whenever we turn our heads during the ceremony, we could enumerate the names of the people around. I want the chapel to be decorated in pink and white flowers only, the aisle we'll be walking through should be covered with white cloth and pink and white petals of roses. The guests should also wear white clothes so the only color we could see in the ceremony are pink and white. We dreamed of having an early morning wedding so we could have a hot chocolate, scrambled egg, fried rice, fried fish, bacon and corned beef in our menu. We also dreamed of spending our honeymoon abroad. An Asian cruise or a European cruise would be great but due to the soaring cases of A(H1N1) flu victims we changed our plan of just spending our honeymoon in our country, go on beach hopping or a cruise around the Philippines.

No, I didn't have the wedding or honeymoon of my dreams. However, after the mass ceremony and wedding reception were over I was actually quite glad that everything turned out well. They were not perfect, but glad there were no obstacles that we couldn't overcome. :) Hubby and I always plan for our next holiday together, so, every holiday is our honeymoon! ;) Hey, hope you'll will get to cruise someday. :)

I did, everyone has different dreams and wishes for their wedding day etc. Mine was to be surrounded by my family and friends. We were married in a historic church and had the reception at the Hilton after words. We left the next day for Antiquia. I loved every minute of it. I was so anal in the planning phase that I am sure I got on everyone's nerves. I just wanted everything to be perfect, and it was in my eyes. It may not have been what every one else expected or what everyone else wanted, but it was what I wanted and what my husband wanted and that was all that mattered in the end.

I as well didn't get the wedding of my dreams, I was married in Las Vegas on our way PCS'ing to Fort Irwin, CA. It may have been a quickie wedding but it was to the man I love the most and that's all that matters :). We are going to have a dream vacation honeymoon once he gets out of the Army in 4 years, which is way exciting. Getting married isn't supposed to be about the material things it's supposed to be about the joining of two people who love eachother!
