FastFood Play Area: Just HOW CLEAN?

Just an inquiry of your thoughts regarding play area of fast food chain My husband and I grew up in Manila but are now residing in the province. Our usual "Family Day" for our daughter would be a once-a-month trip to McDonald's which is 45 minutes drive from our home. While there, we usually go for breakfast, we order food, dine and read newspaper while having coffee. Our daughter enjoys playing in the slides so after eating and sharing stories with mom and dad, she goes to the slides to watch the kids. Of course we don't leave her unsupervised. My husband and I take turn from reading the paper to looking after her. She doesn't go up the slides, she stays at the bottom jumping up and down watching the bigger kids as they slide down. One time, I went to the restroom and my husband looked after her. He stepped out of the playing are for 5mins to take a sip of coffee and then the inevitable happened. My daughter came rushing back to the table and told daddy she doesn't want to play anymore. As I arrived back to the table, my daughter hugged me and related what happened in the play area. Normally, it would be an ordeal for me and my husband to get her to stop playing but this very time she was only there for 15mins. WHY? Because a little girl peed in the play area! Where are the little girl's companion/s? What were the service crew doing to ensure that the area is safe for children? Imagine this, after my daughter related her story, my husband and I observed the play area for a bit then realized that the little girl peed at the bottom of the slides, another girl who was sliding down didnt know of the pee at the bottom and naturally rolled over the other girl's pee. Huh?!

i have worked in a fastfood before, although there was no playplace in it, we usually spray whatever we are cleaning with an antibac. that's to make sure the place, table, chair, trays are clean. i think the playplace is cleaned daily, every morning and at closing, or if there is no one playing and the crews are not busy, they are probably asked to clean it. the problem with what you had experienced is that there was no one supervising the child who peed in there, and it was the parents or guardian's faults. little ones should be supervised, they should never be allowed to play alone. i feel sorry for the other child, that's really gross. im sure if someone have told the manager or crew about what happened, they would have it cleaned right away. but of course we can never be sure that play areas are that clean, especially since many children use it and we dont know where some of them just came from, or if they are sick or not.

Well, the play area in the fast food I think has no guard or no one is attending for the safety needs of the children playing. If there are some attendants then the incident can be avoided.

That is really gross I do hope you reported that to the management so that they would be aware of such. That is sad that this happened to your daughter. I think it is also our responsibility too as customers to inform the management about it because they might just not be aware that this things happen. I hope the parent's of that girl would be responsible enough to look after their child playing around.

that is plain disgusting. but actually two sides are at fault in that scenario: basically the fast food management and the parents of that girl who peed. if i were in your position i'd be faster than lightning in seeking out the manager of that fast food chain. although if i'm not mistaken there is a sign there in any fast food play area that children should be watched. which gives us the bigger picture of things. many parents believe that they can always rely on other people when these other people also believe that it is the parents' themselves who should be taking the main responsibility of looking after their kids. this is not to offend anybody but no wonder youngsters nowadays are behaving the way they are.

McDonald's Playplace - Let's Keep McDonald's Playplace Clean.
Don't Leave Kids Unattended
Yuck that's really groase.. We'll that commonly happens to children who are not properly taught by their parents proper hygiene.. The parents of that little girl or who accompanied her on McDonald's should be responsible for looking after her.. Maybe the little girl was not able to hold here pee so she decided to pee on wherever she is standing.. Also i suggest that there should be a McDonald's crew assigned to look after the kids on the playing area.

man's are always a busy man. unlike womens man used to love their job everytime. they never care about food. but they eat strongly. so they used to find fasst foods. fast foods contains mixtures of pig materials which is harm to our health.
