Most of the people I work with assume I'm 25 or 26. I'm 33 years old. I take it as a compliment. A week after my 33rd birthday, I was carded at a bar. The 22 year old that I was having a drink with wasn't. I asked the bartender if he was a regular or something. She said she'd never seen him before. But somehow she thought I was not only younger than him, but that I was too young to be able to legally drink. That was 5 months ago and it still makes me grin.

Considering I'm 54, I always like it when I'm taken for quite young. Lots of times, I am.. Lots of people don't think I am 54, they sometimes think I'm 20 years younger, and I like that very much!!! I try to keep young, and exercise, and I really don't act like I'mm in my 50's...I don't feel like I'm there either. Enjoy this now, because when you're 50, you'll like it when people think you're very young!! Take care!

I don't like it either. It would be okay if people did not make assumptions that are questionable along with assuming I am younger. Questionable assumptions being... that I am REALLY young, such as college or even high school - that is kind of offensive. Assumptions such as... I am single. Assumptions such as... I am a single mom. Assumptions such as... I get any type of assistance. Assumptions such as... I am not educated.
Maybe now you can see why it is annoying. People are crazy.
Now if people just assumed I was young and hot, that'd be okay

How young? 12 years old? Well, if that's the case you have to make extra effort on choosing what you wear and be careful on how you project yourself so that they won't think of you as adolescent. But if it is just less than 10 years, then try to accept the comments positively. Remember that there are people who are always mistaken to be older than their real age. You are indeed blessed for being though of a few years younger than your real age. Be thankful.

I have always been taken for younger. When people here that I am 52 they can't believe it. I'm thin and have great genes that I got from my parents. I don't get upset when people ask me my age. I can definitely understand if you look older you don't want to give your age.

They usually thinks the same about me and i like to hear that.I always take as a compliment. You should be happy that you look younger than you really are.I would have felt bad if someone mistake me for being older than my actual age.
