Made up words that might just catch on! Some of them can sound so credible too.

Have you ever typed a word that looked like the real deal and then realised that it doesn't even exist? I've done this many times before myself and thanks to functions within spell check, I can even right click and add it to my online dictionary! How cool is that? I reckon I could end up with a whole new dictionary in due course..... So it got me thinking about what words I should start with and I of course should provide meanings as well. For example: Llamification - To embrace the spirit of a Llama and become as one. Spankiferous - A term used to describe an extremely satisfying panda spanking moment. Gooberchomp - A standard goober that has transformed themselves into the goober of all goobers. Crapitical - What a person is being when they dish out meaningless criticism that has no basis or validation. Nonbraggability - A state reached when a failed attempt at something means that to talk about it to others will make you look and sound stupid. (This term would also apply to a situation where you drunkenly and randomly pick up a date outside a nightclub and then wake up the next morning to discover that it's actually a farm animal) Do you have any of your own words that you think might deserve a place in this new dictionary of mine?

"Humornaire" is great! It sounds like a word that could also mean "rich in humor"! It's funny that ypu mention chillax too, because I actually heard this said in a movei not long ago so have even used it myself a few times since. It's the weekend here now too, so I'm gonna try and chillax as best I can! lol.

Moolanada's are everywhere right now too. What a shame. I've been one of those in the past too. The term has a Spanish flavour! Ole!

LOL. Let me add another, "moolanada" - an aristocratic, socialite person who has no money, though he isn't poor. He just has no money. Much like the economy now. LOL

Yep! The biggest part of the budget is paying for all the extras! We're talking millions of actors all at once, it's a terrifying prospect actually.

Now we are getting started on a PS dictionary of words, phrases, thier meaning and origin.... I must say, i need to enhance my knowledge and usage of them. These are great ones you've shared.. This has come to mind, but i sure wish i could have used it.. Pandalising:- An extreme state of vandalism brought about by a bout of total quirkiness. I think i need some mind refreshing on this one. Maybe some enhanced spanking should do the trick.

Hahahahahahahaha, I LOVE "Pandalising"! Does that mean that someone guilty of it is a Pandal? I think a panda spanking dictionary would be a tremendous addition to the archives myself. Who knows, we may even attract the attention of Webster's!

Great list here Bala! I've met many sfarts throughout my life I must say! I'm quite adept at saladarity too. This dictionary is coming along nicely and these additions are much appreciated. Keep your eyes open for terairists and terrarists too please, we really need to shut people like that down. lol.

Graftician - a politician who practices graft and corruption snobberswhomper - a person who whomps snobbish persons Gaekgaekwhakka - sound you make when you choke on a double patty burger Cougartoot - an affinity with cougars and what you would like to do with them. LMAO! So what WOULD you do to a cougar then? (And I'm assuming this has absolutely nothing to do with big cats! lol) I'm trying to remember if I've ever choked on a double patty burger before, but I reckon the sound you shared would be pretty accurate! I wonder what sound would be made by a Mentalimized Graftician that was out Snobberswhomping for Cougartooters? Great words here Redhornet!

For me it would be droolalicious if it was "real" Italian Lasagna with garlic bread, small salad.. and a piece of white chocolate Raspberry or strawberry cheesecake for dessert...Sorry for the overload..

Good Lord Becca, I just logged in to check things out and have seen all these discussions of mine popping back up! If I have a heart attack trying to catch up, you may have to explain why to my Wife OK? LMAO. Droolalicious sounds perfectly credible to me! It's the ideal word to describe something that's way better than delicious and makes ya drool! Like fresh seafood and Lindt Chocolate's! Oooooh mama, droolalicious! lol.

Oooooo, I love your new words. They are fantastic! Can I begin to use them, IF I give you credit as I do? IT is late, and I'm very tired from working outside all day, so,no, sorry, I can't think of any of my own. I'm dumbstruck! Best I can do, hon.

You may of course use them freely Annie! I get dumbstruck too and quite often actually. I also get dumbfounded! Once I ened up "dumbnified" when I spent a few days at a seminar and was surrounded by idiots that had a less than desirable effect on me. I managed to pick myself back up again a day or so afterwards, so all's well that ended well there. Phew.

My personal favorite was always: sar·chasm ('sär-"ka-z&m) : The giant gulf (chasm) between what is said and the person who doesn't get it.

I don't make up words, I just use other, more talented people's words, and put my own spin on them by using them the wrong way, or by mispronouncing them.*L*

Mine isn't nearly as creative as some of the ones I've been seeing, but here goes, anyway. Imaginate: another form for "imagine". Ex. "I'm imaginating what I could be when I grow up." I've had this word stuck in my head for years, and I'm so happy to have finally gotten it down in words. lolol!

I imaginate all the time too actually! And the best thing of all? This is one of those words that DO look and sound very credible. I'm happy to have given you the chance to immotalise imaginate once and for all too! lol.

"immortalise" is what I meant to type! Jeez, what a thing to miss that letter r there, can you imaginate my embarrassment?
