exactly how does a credit card work?
i'm buying stuff and i wonder if i can pay it off, little by little each month.is that possible or do I have to pay it all at one time?

The advantage of having a credit card is paying thing you bought on installment. Just make sure to pay on time the minimum payment to avoid having late charges which is quite high. You can also pay all one time for you not to have finance charges.
