when i was in college i don't remember sleeping over to my friend's house. i think my parents didn't allow me and its just ok with me. i just experienced sleeping in other house when we visited some of our relatives and i am not really comfortable about it, especially when it is the first time. i hardly sleep and when i fall a sleep it is very shallow that even a little noise can wakes me up...now, there are still times when my husband & i needs to sleep in others house even just for a night and it is still not a comfortable feeling... how about you? do experienced sleeping over to your friends house or relatives when you are still in school and up to present? how do you feel about it? are you comfortable and can sleep well? or if you have a child, especially if she's a girl, will you allow her to sleep over her friends house? thanks fellow mylotters & have a great day!

YEah, i have slept over at fren's house for couple of times.. haha =D WHen i was a kid, i could not quite get used to it because it's not my own comfort zone after all.. hehe ^_^ As i grew older and having going thru army, there's no more comfort zone for me as i have mroe or less gotten used to sleeping anywhere, even out in the wild, on soil etc.. haha =D Thus as long as i have a proper sleeping place, be it my house or not, i'm fine with it and i'm able to sleep as well as i'm on my own bed.. haha =D If i have a daughter, i will allow her to stay over at frenz house, except for guy frenz.. lol =D

I used to it during my childhood years. I do not sleep in our own house. My brother invite me to their house to accompany her wife when he is to sleep in his work. Another stepbrother of mine will ask favor to sleep to their house near us to accompany his son when they are both out for hours of the night. I grew up in other's house especially house of my stepbrothers. As i grow into teens my mother do not allowed me to sleep over their house anymore.

It is because that even the fact that they are my stepbrother, mama do not fully trust them, because they used to got drunk every night. Yes, sometimes i love to take care of my niece and nephew but i also want to be free of taking care of children because i already used of it in my other step sister and brother.

true...and your mother is just concern about your safety...because we can really never know...there are times that even real brothers get troubled with their sister...so whats more with the step brothers... but anyway, its really nice being with children and taking care of them...

Yes I loved it before during my younger years. It would just be so nice to sleep at our friends house because we can do whatever we want to do unlike during the day every now and then you will be called by your mother to come home...Nowadays I guess I would not permit my children sleeping in their friends' house with out any valid reasons. We'll that would be case to case basis, cause we never know what lies ahead...thanks..

hello! i think that's perfectly okay as long as we know our limitations...parents did not allow their children for sleep overs nowadays because environment is so unpredictable and they just care for their child's safety! thanks! have a nice day! :-)

Sleepover is not allowed when I was still in college. My parents think that it is not proper to be going to other people's house and sleep there to think that we have our own house. Secondly, she thinks that it is not safe. I was allowed only when I was working . It turned out well, at least I got to know my co-workers well and we bonded well.

hi! thanks for sharing... that's right! there's no place like home... and that's one thing that children must do when sleeping to other house...inform our parents and ask permission so that they will not get worried! :-)

hello ckyera! where are you today? my parents never stop me to sleep in my friend or relative's house provided that there's a beneficial purpose. yes i experienced sleep in my relative house, in my first cousin, she's a girl, and we slept together in one bed. at first i was not comfortable then on second time it was better. but i never tried to sleep in my friends house, i feel conscious and discomfort. if you come here in davao, feel at home in our home, sleep with us!
