do you remember their birthdays

Here's an idea to make a difference: Quite a few years ago, I started to mark down everyone's birthday that I knew...even if it was just a co-worker, someone I knew in church, etc. Over the years I ended up with quite a list of birthdays, and I actually made an excel chart to keep track of whose birthday was coming up in a particuilar month. Then I go to a Dollar store, where I can buy 2 cards for 1.00, and purchase enough cards for the month. I have really enjoy sending them out because I know they are shocked to get a card from someone they didn't expect. Alot of the people I haven't seen in years, but I still send them a card, and they are amazed that I still remember their birthday. It's my way of keeping in touch with people, and making people feel good.

That's very thoughful of you. On my part, I'm very not good remembering dates but i show my friends my affection for them in a different way like texting or calling them once in a while without any occassion at all.
For gift ideas though i recommend http://www.gifti.us

When I 'm working all day, it's hard to call everyone who is on my list, that's why it's alot easier for me to send the card. Thanks for responding.

Since i use friendster, i always remember the birthday of my friend, because of the birthdays updates for a each month i use to greet them all, i use to give them a funny comments that says to his or her birthday, and they always says to me thank you, it is a happy feeling that every of your friends know your birthday, if ever i am going to celebrate my birthday they greet me also.

That's really kind of you! It's nice to have a small influence on other people's lives. For me I use Facebook to remember people's birthdays as it comes up with the automatically and on the actual birthday I will send people a text. I don't honestly have time to send birthday cards or the money at the moment but it's good to hear that other people do!
