I am not sure how healthy it is. However I have a couple "cheap" recipes. All I can eat is chicken:) One of the easiest ways I make it is wih brown sugar and garlic salt. You put the chicken pieces in a baking dish. Season them with garlic salt. Then, sprinkle the tops with brown sugar. I use a lot of it, but it's really up to you as to how much. Bake at 375 for an hour. The sugar will melt like a glaze. It is AMAZING!!! I also just tried Captin Crunch breaded chicken. It sounds weird but it is great. Just get some captin crunch and pour it in a gallon sized bag, then break it down into crumbs. Put the chicken in the bag with the crumbs. Shake the bag to make sure the chicken is coated. Bake for an hour at 375. YUM

I don't know the recipe, which doesn't exactly help you, but last night I was craving some grilled chicken, and at 1 A.M., my boyfriend went to the store, bought some chicken, and cooked for me, wasn't that sweet of him? And it was damn good, wish I had the recipe for ya, maybe I'll ask him...

A nice easy and cheap receipe that me and my housemate often do is chicken baked in BQ sauce. Buy chicken fillets - enough for one per person (this would also work with diced chicken etc.) and a jar of BBQ marinade sauce. Place chicken fillets in a baking tray and pour sauce over the top. Cook for about 20min at 200 degrees in the oven. If you are wanting healthy have with a salad or vegetables. Me and my housemate like making home made potatoe wedges to go with ours!

Chicken can be cooked so many ways, and the recipes are endless, and almost all of them healthy since chicken is a great source of protien and healthy by itself. If you're looking for good taste at a low price, you can just season some chicken filets and grill them, you could get some cream of mushroom soup and put chicken in a baking dish, pour the soup over it and bake it. It's really a matter of taste, if you know of recipes you like for other meats, try it with chicken, it usualy works out well. I don't suggest you fry chicken if you're trying to make healthy meals with it, greasy foods arent very healthy no matter what the ingredients are.
