I am trying my best to eat right. I do buy some organic products, go to farmers market, etc.. but I find it to be expensive. However, I do know that our health is worth it. I just can't afford it right now. I try to buy like fruit and few other products that organic - that is a start. What tips or suggestions do you have that will make it more affordable. P.S. I live in apartment so I can't start my own garden (yet). thanks

You can grow your own veggies. I am not sure if you have an area outside for gardening. If you want to grow organic, just make sure to start with organic seeds, organic soil and fertilizer. Not sure if you have a yard and if so, if pesticides or herbicides have been used on the yard. If growing indoors or on a balcony or patio, have you heard of an earthbox.com? You can also build your own earthbox or greenhouse. A hoophouse greenhouse is very inexpensive to build and can be scaled to your size needs. Also, if you see a fruit or vegetable stand on the side of the road, quite often they are run by families, that may be growing organically.
