Chicken wings very dangerous to health........?Don't ignore this...pls

Yes, lol, I bet they do that to the chickens and all farm animals. They provide them too antibiotics, and therefore we are eaten food with a medication. That happens for example with honey. In my country, a consumer organization made an study to see the components of honey sold at supermarkets, well the study said that lot of brands of honey had antibiotics, and that´s very dangerous for health, because when you really need to take one, it will have not effect in your body. It´s said also that cows are feed with hormones, and the milk we drink have those hormones, which is dangerous too. well, I don´t have enough money to buy organic food, organic meat which has been feed with natural food, fresh vegetables, etc, I would rather eat that if it wasn´t so expensive, so I choose to eat something of everything but not very much quantity, that way I feel the harm will be less.

That's crazy, shouldn't they have to put a warning on the packages now then? Doesn't it have to be FDA approved to be injecting the animals with the steroid in the first place?

This kind of email is totally alarmist and designed to stir emotions (as it has done with you and your cousin). These are also prime emails for the spread of viruses. As for some of the comments, like the one by DEEWINC that "The West has totally created new diseases out of technology that was supposed to aid us..." 1. This is a totally ridiculous and unfounded statement 2. The use of growth hormones / steroids has been illegal in the west for decades 3. The more under-developed countries in Asia, Indo-China and Africa are the ones who use steroids illegally (where does bird flu originate) This particular email has been described as "email rumor" it's status is "false" and it has been circulating since May 2004. This is totally alarmist and could create panic amongst the ill-informed

I had no idea that chicken wings were dangerous luckly i dont eat chicken wings tried them when I was a kid and just didnt care for them. So I have nothing to worry about since I dont even eat them.

Chicken is one of my favorite foods. I see no reason to stop eating it, even the wings. What might be harmful to one person--in this case, the lady you mentioned--might not be harmful to another. She might just have an extra sensitivity to the chicken, I don't presume to know. I don't mean to sound like I'm dismissing this lady's condition--it's horrible, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy--but I'd venture to say that whatever's used on the chicken has actually done much more good than it has otherwise.
