Have you participated in eating competition before?

Once in a while, we hear about eating hotdags, cheese burger, or noodle competition in TV and it is even a big event in some of the countries. I have never tried or even thought about it because first I don't think I could eat that much within such a short time, second, I don't want to kill my digest system, third, I think it is a big waste... Do you think you can try this sort of competition and win the prize? What do you think about eating competition?
