I have been seeing a ton of ads lately for "acai berries" ...this is going to help you lose weight, increase energy... it seems like in the ads that it is a drink or something that you add to your drink...I am not completely sure. They are all over the internet with pop up ads.
Has anyone tried this?? What do you think, does it work? Is it worth trying it??? I have taken over the counter weight loss pills, some have worked some havent... so its not like I am not willing to try them... I dont have much weight to lose, I am in the "10 lbs" to lose group but I was just curious if anyone here has tried it or liked it...what are your suggestions?? Would you be willing to try acai berries?

Well, Acai is real. It's a Brazilian fruit that we Brazilians make into ice cream, juices, etc. It's very healthy and FULL of antioxidants (kinda like tea). I can't say for sure if it'll help you lose weight. I would suggest that you don't buy these Acai weight loss pills. Instead, go to your local grocery and buy some Acai juice or even the ice cream. If you have a Brazilian market around your city, even better!
The reason I say get the real stuff: it's simple..if the pills work, than the real stuff should work just as well. If not, than obviously the pill has something added to it that's not supposed to be there.
Also, I'm very much against pills or medicines of any kind (unless nothing else can be done). I like to go "all natural" when it comes to my health. You can never go wrong with the natural, real stuff.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy Acai. We Brazilians ADORE that little berry :)

I have heard but never tried acai. On my recent project, I have found out that berries are very good for liver, kidneys and for treating anaemia and pregnant ladies. It cleanses the toxins of our bosy and helps in smooth child birth.

Yes, I think I am going to look into them a little bit more as well, I see them everywhere now, but I would like to get the actual berry and add them into things so that I get the full benefits of them.
thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

While this is a good antioxidient I found that it did not help me loose weight. But as I am on pain medication that causes constipation it did help with that. I believe if you can get it at a good price it has its benefits. I am not sure that weight loss is one of them but it could work for you if you only need to loose 10 pounds. I am in the have lost more than 50 pounds and still have about 30 more to go to reach my final goal. Good luck to you and God Bless
