Can someone suggest a really good photography camera?

Maybe you would like camera names, huh? It depends on your funds. Colors don't matter, you change to b&w on pc. If you want have something small, good for you, take Canon 1000D (or 1100D), they're in reasonable price and suited for learning. More pricey (but still it's rly cheap for camera) is Canon 400D/450D (on ebay - really worth, buy rly cheap and make photos for 5 years with no problem) or Canon 500D/600D in shops with live view and such. If you have even more money, and can afford for not-so-cheap camera, then go for double digit Canons. Generally less digits, better camera. Less digits are more profesional, but don't get afraid. Professional cameras are more durable and waterproof. If I were to buy SLR again, I would buy 3 digits (Canon XXX D) for sure. It's much easier to get into photography with SLR than with small compact camera, BELIEVE me! __ Why would you believe me? I aim to becoming pr0 photographer. I'm going for photographic college and have more profesional than non-professional stuff right now. But camera isn't that important (ANY SLR will be enough). It depends on the type of pictures you want to take. If you want to take more than just snapshots and maybe take landscapes, macros (close-ups), low light action shots, etc you should consider a digital SLR camera. Canon or Nikon cameras are considered the best ones. Or you could start out with a nice point and shoot camera and practice with that for a while. That is what I did for years before I upgraded. Yes I love black and white photography too. I never take pictures in black and white but I convert them to black and white in Photoshop Elements. Go to a store and look at the cameras to get an idea. But I advise you get them online because you can save lots of money.
