Disneyland or DisneyWorld, which is better?

If you had a choice to go to Disneyland or Disney World, which one would it be? I always enjoy Disneyland. It is less populated than Disney World, and I'm sure less expensive.

I haven't been to either yet... I'd like to visit both and even EuroDisney in the future!

Disneyland was so much fun. my kids cried when we got home from vacation. they wanted to stay there. i had to tell them, that is why they call it vacation, because it's fun!

what is your reason on that? i have only been to florida once, but it was not to go to disneyworld, but to attend the daytona 500.

Well I have been to both disneyland in CA, and Disney World in FL. I have to say I prefer Disney World in Florda because there is more to do there. you can buy a 3 day pass and see what would be like disneyland in CA, but in Florda you have epcot center which is all about science and they also have quite a few nations represented there also. you could take a tour of the word at epcot center in both culter and food. so Disney world is a lot better and it justified buy a little bit more cost.

don't you think you would need at least a week to see everything and do everything at Disney World? Disneyland is smaller and 2 to 3 days is all you need. i have heard that epcot center is awesome.

I Love both Disneyworld and land. When I was living in Japan I went to Tokyo Disneyland lots.I loved to see them in New Year's Day because they,I mean Mickey etc wear Kimono(Japanese traditional cloth) and this is very unique:) There is also Tokyo Disney sea,right next to Disneyland I've never been there yet but I would love to visit there when I visit my home country,Japan:)
