if you love someone?

If you love somebody, then you should be willing to do anything for that person to be happy even if it means that you have to let go. I know it is difficult to love someone who does not love you back. It happened to me before, my guy friend fell in love with me and followed everything I said. He even tried to change a lot in himself just to please me. After almost 3 years he gave up and left me alone, that's the time that I realized that I liked him. But he already moved on with his life, found someone who'll love him for who he is. When they broke up we became close friends again (closer than we were in college), for a year we're more like lovers than friends. But I guess we are not meant to be, I loved him more of as a friend than as a lover. Now we're almost 2 years apart, I'm getting married next year while he got someone pregnant and they are now married. I am happier with my fiance now because he loves me so much and I also love him. I just hope that my old friend is as happy with his family now as I am with my life.
