building a business from nothing

For ten years I have wanted to start my own Extreme Challenge Park. I am finally moving ahead with it. I am planning a big event and selling raffle tickets. I just don't know the best way to sell tickets or where to go to be able to sell them. I need to raise at least $120,000. That is minimum. I am open to ideas for raising money quickly. I could go non profit because the goal is to help our youth but I want to be able to hand the business down to my kids and grand kids someday and I can't necessarily do that with a non profit.
