I have been hearing a lot about this book which is written by Robert Kiyosaki so intrigue was I, I asked my client who is an Financial Advisor if she has it. It was loaned to me today, as soon as I started reading this book I wished that I had it when I was graduating from school. Every thing that has been spoken in chapter one is exactly what is being done to children. (I have not moved on to chapter 2 as yet) We learned nothing about money, our parents told us to go to school and have a good education in order for us to get a good work, good pension etc but we were never taught how to understand money and how to make money work for us. I remember when I started working with the Government in the Security Ministry every police officers has a life insurance/investment but I was scared in applying for one because I was not taught that Investment is the way forward. My parents were ignorant to these Financial Goals and so they couldn't taught us anything about it. I was afraid to take risks and so thought that the way I was living was the correct way. Since working with this Financial Advisor I have learned so much that I wish I had known her fifteen years ago. In the early 80's/90's financial advice was not so open as it is now. There are so many books and blogs that persons can get information to have a good financial wellness in their lives. I hope that parents with children are using these educational materials to teach their children so that they don't come and make the same mistakes as we did. We look at the economic crisis and see it as a bad thing but to me it is good that it happen because now children can understand that working from 9-5 is not the only way out to survive. A 9-5 job only allows stress and unhappiness but when we started to used our talents to give us additional income then we are able to live the dream as any wealthy person (thinking outside the box). Yes this lesson comes in a very hard way but we are strong to survive it and to learn from it as well.

I have heard about this book but I have never read it. I am impressed by the fact that he invented the velcro wallet which is a cool thing. My son gave one to me and it is really cool. Cheers!!
