How do I get this onion smell off of my hands?

I was helping my mom make dinner and I chopped a few onions. My hands stink and I have washed my hands twice now, but hte smell won´t go away.
Is there anything I can do to make the smell go away?

I saw this cooking show and the chef said that washing your hands while holding a knife takes away the smell of onions on your hands. There's a chemical reaction that takes the smell away.

with soap?I think the smell of the onion

Rub them with parsley and then wash them thoroughly. Use the brush to get soap under your nails.
