RIAA awarded 1.9 million

So does anyone else think that the RIAA is getting a little ridiculous with this music downloading crap? Going after a mother of 4 children for having 24 illegally downloaded songs? And for 1.9 million dollars when all of the songs cost 99 cents on iTunes? Seriously? How does the RIAA thinks this helps them? What do they think that it does for their image to saddle a woman with that kind of debt, especially in the type of the economy we are living in? And how does it make the artists look that they are standing idly by while the RIAA does this? I personally thinks it makes it look only like the rich are looking to get richer and are just pissed off they might miss out on a little more money. As if they don't have enough already. There is all of this talk about how much people illegally downloading cost the artists and associates annually. How much do they think it will cost them when consumers begin boycotting their albums and concerts if this kind of thing is allowed to continue? If you are going to prosecute someone and fine them, do it within reasonable limits to what the product is worth.
